Scene It? on the Playstation 3.
If you've owned either a PS2 or PS3 then there's a good chance that you're, at the very least, aware of Sony's trivia game franchise called Buzz. Trivia fans would also be familiar with Screenlife's Scene It? games which have been available on numerous platforms for some time now. Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! is the latest game in that franchise, and for the first time ever the franchise is about to hit Sony's console, the Playstation 3. Read on to see what this game is all about...

Yet another correct answer.
Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! is essentially a trivia game which includes media from around the globe and a focus on Hollywood hits. The game will even include movies released this year, so it's pretty current, but will stretch back for around four decades of movies. The game includes thousands of new questions, single and party play options, 12 player avatars and plenty of new puzzles and mini-games. One cool game mode is certain to be "PixelPlay" where you are given a movie scene recreated with 8-bit styled visuals (think something around Sega Master System or NES, and have to pick the movie.

There are still a few things we don't know about this game. As yet Warner Brothers can't or won't confirm if the game will be compatible with Sony's Buzz Buzzers. We certainly hope so, but all indications from the screenshots so far show the game focused on the face buttons on the Dual Shock 3 (circle, square, X, triangle). We also don't know about online gameplay, nor has there been any confirmation of any downloadable content such as additional question packs (although the previous XBox 360 game, Scene It? Box Office Smash did receive DLC). Time will tell...

The PS3 should look identical to this.
Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! isn't the most visually striking game on the PS3 to date, that's a certainty however as long as the questions are clear to read, the visual clues such as video clips are of a suitable quality (as they should be on Blu-Ray - no excuses) and the audio is solid then this should get the job done.

This is the first time that the Scene It? franchise is hitting Sony's consoles, but unlike the PC and XBox 360 the title will have a major battle competing against Sony's own Buzz franchise which has a massive fan base, and already multiple releases on the PS3 with many downloadable packs. Still Scene It?, with its Hollywood focus, is sure to generate interest when it hits shelves in November.
