CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME VIDEO OF MADDEN NFL: NEXT GEN (Broadband/Dial-up)

And here we are... the next generation is almost upon us. These screenshots actually came from a promotional TV advert (which you can download above) for Madden NFL Next Gen (we expect it to have a year put on eventually). What is undenyable is that every single frame in the advert looks absolutely astonishing. There's two main things to note however. The first is that these scenes aren't from the actual PS3 game, nor XBox 360, but are a representation of what the game will look like. The second thing. The development team is apparently a little upset that EA are releasing these screens and movies so early. The reason; apparently the actual game will look much better! Welcome to the next generation folks...

Almost photo-realistic...
Saturday April 23rd, the day that Electronic Arts premiered the above video clips on the NFL Draft Broadcast on ESPN - the first time the general public has seen what the next generation games look like. There really is little else to go on at this stage - no other details. EA's Senior Vice President Frank Gibeau of North American Marketing for Electronic Arts said that the next generation is "an innovative and unparalleled NFL football experience is what we've promised; and that is what we are going to deliver."

The ad, which will run only once during the broadcast, is a 60 second TV advertisement showcasing the photo-realistic graphics and heart-pounding football intensity that is the essence of the EA SPORTS branded next generation Madden NFL football game, and representative of what game players everywhere will be able to play when the next generation of videogame consoles come to market.
