Mid-2005 saw one of the most enjoyable, and unique, titles released on the Playstation 2. Destroy All Humans! was that title with a sense of humour in line with the wonderful Mars Attacks movie from a decade or so ago. The game received plenty of positive reviews the world over and sales were strong enough that a sequel was soon put into development. Rather then head to the next-generation systems THQ and developers Pandemic Studios have kept this a PS2 title. This sequel promises more of everything, bigger levels, more multiplayer and upgraded weapons and mental abilities.
Assuming the role of the Furon Scout - Crypto 137 – players will embark on another mission to earth to take on the world of free love, the Cold War and other 60’s era icons.

Yet again this title turns the tables on your traditional action game by allowing gamers to play as the invading aliens rather then trying to defend earth. Players have total freedom to destroy anything and manipulate everything in the world - battling enemies with an explosive arsenal of alien weaponry, or wreak havoc from above in their Jetpack or UFO. Destroy All Humans! 2 includes 5 open-world game environments including Bay City, Albion and Takoshima Island. ake on the world with enhanced alien weaponry, including the all new Meteor Strike, and Disclocator, or utilize your mental abilities with old and new favorites like PK, Cortex Scan, Transmogrify and Mind Flash. Upgrade your weapons and abilities or purchase new ones through the Abduction Vault on the Mothership.
Pandemic Studios are also including multi-player support via split-screen Co-Op Game mode. Play through the entire single player game together or replay missions already completed. Plus, play in special two player mini games throughout the game like PK Tennis and more.
There's still quite a bit of development to go on this game but fans of the original will certainly want to keep an eye on this when it hits the shelves in October.
