Check out the crazy characters.
So we've already seen Buzz! The Music Quiz, then came Buzz! The Big Quiz, then Buzz! The Big Quiz and also the entertaining, but not trivia based, Buzz! Junior Jungle Party which was a hell of a lot more entertaining then we expected it to be. Now we have the fifth game to use Sony's innovative controllers Buzz! The Mega Quiz. The game is really very simply. In some rounds you simply hit the big red button when the answer appears, while in others you have to hit the colour corresponding to the answer. There's variations, but this is pretty much a trivia game.

Check out the new stage!
As with the latest game Buzz! The Mega Quiz supports up to 8-players simultaneously (assuming you have two sets of Buzz! controllers). In terms of teh stats the game includes over 5000 questions, over 500 images including 100 celebrity photos and 50 pop videos. Additionally the game includes 20 sporting clips, 10 blockbuster movie clips as well as nature clips and TV footage.

As well as classic rounds such as Pass the Bomb and Points Builder there are three new rounds. Point Picker allows you to choose the subject that suits you best (or suits your opponents least!), Winner Stays On sees you pick Higher or lower? Older or younger? Keep guessing right and watch the points stack up while the Final Countdown is an all-new, undisclosed exciting final round!

Picking your category.
Buzz! The Mega Quiz includes three difficulty levels to suit all gamers as well as five game modes including Multiplayer, Single, Team, Quickfire, Quiz Master. As expecte a Hall of Fame will keep track of your stats and high scores. This time around there are 16 contestants to choose from, including several brand new characters.

One of the new challenges, or should that be modes, in this title is the ability to challenge Buzz in his “Mystery Games” – special rounds where he takes to centre stage and challenges the contestants to take him on. These special rounds give him the opportunity to show off his multi-talented nature as a card shark, horse trainer and all-round raconteur.

Level scores - but not for long!
As you can see from the surrounding screens the game has been given a few licks of paint to make it look fresh. We also expect Jason Donovan to reprise his role as the wisecracking Buzz although this is still to be confirmed.

Buzz! The Mega Quiz is due out in Australia in late May and looks like being another title for Buzz! fans to add to their collection. We really can't wait to see if Sony bring this game to the Playstation 3 at some stage with downloadable question packs - in fact we'd put money on it if we could as it's too big an opportunity to pass up.
