    PS3 News
Over the last couple of days reports have come out stating that Crystal Dynamic's upcoming Tomb Raider - due in early 2013 - would include a scene where someone attempts to rape Lara Croft. Today however studio head Darrell Gallagher has denied these reports confirming there is no such scene in the game. He states:\

"In making this Tomb Raider origins story our aim was to take Lara Croft on an exploration of what makes her the character she embodies in late Tomb Raider games. One of the character defining moments for Lara in the game, which has incorrectly been referred to as an ‘attempted rape’ scene is the content we showed at this year’s E3 and which over a million people have now seen in our recent trailer entitled ‘Crossroads’.
This is where Lara is forced to kill another human for the first time. In this particular section, while there is a threatening undertone in the sequence and surrounding drama, it never goes any further than the scenes that we have already shown publicly. Sexual assault of any kind of categorically not a theme that we cover in this game."

    PS3 News
Well we wanted it to come to Europe and America, and apparently Sony have said it will be coming which is great news. Also impressive is that the animal survival game Tokyo Jungle was released in Japan last week, and hit the top of the charts with 110,309 sales.

Seems a little bit of controversy has arisen over the Battlefield Premium pricing in Australia. The pack - which gives you all the DLC and more - was announced with a $AU49.99 price point here, but it seems that's only for PC with PS3 gamers having to fork out $AU79.95 - WTF! XBox 360 owners have to pay 4000MSP (which in real money means $AU66 or so).
