This game has been out for a couple of months now but due to well.. mainly laziness.. we haven't gotton around to doing a review. Chris has played the game and seems to have enjoyed it quite a bit. Here's the place to discuss the game, or the review.

Hehe... yeah, laziness on my behalf and a broken ps2 has delayed this one a little bit... borrowing a friend's ps2 enabled me to finish this one off though, and if you like the mech-customisation in previous AC games, you'll be right at home with this one :)

Ive never played the game before, so what type of gameplay is it? Is it turn-based attacks or real-time battles??
2 player or just single player?

It's realtime battles in a third-person view (think tomb raider in giant robots in big arenas with jetpacks). 2 player is an option for deathmatch style play (4player with ilink too!). Best bet is to hire it and give it a go; it's not a bad game, so you shouldnt be disappointed :)

it's basically a rip-off of sega's virtual on series... still fun, tho... :P
