The next one is Medal of Honor: Rising sun, and yep, it's set in the Pacific alright.
It sounds like it's slowly trying to jazz up the FPS genre, with a new graphics engine for better jungle environments, and multiple gameplay paths to make you play it more than once.
It's meant to be releasing around christmas in the states, so if you're lucky we might see it here around the same time (but given delays and PAL conversions, I wouldn't hold my breath on it). Check out this link for more information on it.
Yeah I agree. I think all FPS should be two player co-op or at least two player. How good would the frame rate be with all the action goin on and two players though? Hopefully the game lasts alot longer than the first game on PS2. Also can you have teams like four people on your side a whole mission, like conflict desert storm?
gotta say guys im actually impressed by this title. i hired it the other day and loved it. There are still the typical medal of honour faults dumb A.I. And having an enemy lined up in your sites yet for some strange reason missing him. but dispite these faults i am still a fan of the game.
no arguements here mate that the game could of been a lot better. But the overriding factor for me is the fact that your fighting the japs in the pacific during the war and being a bit of a war buff i find that a pretty cool thing.
Ahh I grant you that. EA did spend quite some time ensuring the authenticity was in the game and that was the most enjoyable aspect... They even enlisted Capt. Dale Dye for the game (as they have in the past). He's probably the best know movie/game war historian used today.
OK a couple of years on a Medal of Honor European Assault is out now and our review will be online soon. It's certainly better then Rising Sun.. has anyone else played this yet.. What are your thoughts? What about no online gameplay?
