A quick search on the net revealled a locked article at gamespot.com from mid last year, and not much else. As far as I knew some company was working on a ps2 sequel, but haven't heard about it for ages...
Not even I have heard much about this title, not much at all. It is obviously in development but I recall hearing that development is being handled by an in-house Infogrames team, and not Reflections as with previous titles. Reflections are hard at work on Driver 3 at the moment. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Expect to hear a lot about this at the E3 show in May with a potential Christmas release.
There's some recent screens in a feature at the Magic Box. It looks slightly more 'cartoonish' I suppose when compared to the previous ones, and the cars don't seem to have the same DD look to them (ie non-stockcar); they're sportyish and some viper-wannabes seem to pop up in those screens.
OK well Chris has finished the review of this game and sadly it's not up to the standards set by past titles. Still, if you're after some online driving action, or really love the past games you may enjoy the title.
