Posted - 07/02/2011 : 20:46:41 So updating my best movies of 2010 I would have to put Kick Ass up there, I have Inception on Blu-Ray but haven't watched it as yet, Avatar (technically 2009) was gorgeous on Blu-Ray, and being a massive Arnie, and action movie, fan The Expendables was great too. |

Posted - 19/12/2010 : 09:26:42 I also loved Avatar. I found a couple of big name movies a big disappointment though. |

Posted - 16/11/2010 : 09:37:23 I'd have to say Kickass. Not often do you find a movie about a geek wanting to be a superhero, ending up to be one. I absolutely adore hitgirl since at her young age, she's able to do moves only adults are capable of. If you haven't watched it yet, I suggest you do.

Posted - 20/09/2010 : 20:59:47 I saw Kick-Ass for the first time on Blu-Ray recently and while it's certainly not for kids, I absolutely loved the movie so check it out. |

Posted - 21/07/2010 : 11:20:49 In theatres I haven't been blown away too much but have to say Toy Story 3 was sensational - both on a visual and story level. In terms of Blu-Rays there have been some very good releases, but not much exceptional. Stuff late last year like District 9 and Star Trek are superb, but this year I would probably say the Toy Story 1/2, Funny People, Michael Jackson's This is It and Up take the cake to date. I think though that Avatar is near the top of my list as a theatrical experience, and for the stunning Blu-Ray transfer. |
